Marine Lance Corporal Justin Rokohl
Born February 9, 1987, in El Campo, Texas. Justin grew up in Orange Grove Texas and graduated from high school in 2005. While in school, Justin participated in football, track, cross country and power lifting. He went to State in Ag Skills his freshman year. Justin joined the Marines, October 10, 2005, deployed to Iraq 2006-2007, Afghanistan in 2008. He was wounded June 20, 2008. He was the recipient of 11 different medals and ribbons from the United States military, including the Purple Heart. Today, Justin works a fulltime job in the oil industry and drives a specially modified vehicle. Justin enjoys horses, hunting and fishing and even takes part in rodeo team roping.
At just 23 years old, Marine Lance Corporal Justin Rokohl has seen and experienced more than most will in a lifetime. In June of 2008, during his second tour of duty overseas, Justin sustained massive injuries after an attack and explosion that launched him 90 feet in the air. He suffered a broken back, broken hip, fractured tibia and fibulas, two broken femurs, and damage to both legs that could not be repaired or corrected. Today Justin is able to walk with the use of prosthetics. He works a fulltime job in the oil industry, drives a specially modified vehicle and even takes part in cowboy team roping. He is also the recipient of 11 different medals and ribbons from the United States military, including the Purple Heart.

The Victoria team headed by Sarah Korczynski & Veronica McCants, RE/MAX Land & Homes, found their Sentinel before approaching Texas Sentinels Foundation for help and the ladies haven’t stopped going. They have secured Blanton Builders of Victoria to build Justin’s home.
